Audacity Anytime Anyplace Anywhere

Audacityportable

Audacity Portable is a mobile version of the popular free sound-editing software which can run from a memory stick or CDrom on any computer. Particularly useful for podcasting workshops, you can pre-install the Lame encoder and therefore automatically export as mp3 without any fuss. Cool.

Dear Joe,

Very great news! I´ve already used the regular audacity, but a portable one which you can take in your pendrive makes recording much easier in a classroom. Thanks for sharing.

Excellent resource. I also use the regular version of audacity, but a lot of colleges have absurd rules on not allowing anything that is free to be installed. This I guess would get round this.
