Audacity Portable is a mobile version of the popular free sound-editing software which can run from a memory stick or CDrom on any computer. Particularly useful for podcasting workshops, you can pre-install the Lame encoder and therefore automatically export as mp3 without any fuss. Cool.
A group of local language teachers came to Nodehill today for some training on blogging. The after school session lasted about ninety minutes and allowed everyone to have a go and create their own weblog.
