Thanks Joe
And how did I read your post?
Well through an RSS feed with google reader on my iPhone whilst on the train :-)

Nice ;)

Great post Joe, nice to have the links alongside the audio. RSS is still underused by educators imo.

I hope you will contribute to edutalk365 throughout the year.

Well done, Joe, nice report. I agree with @John, educators are insufficiently aware of the power of RSS and perhaps your talk will go a long way to doing something about that.

Happy New Year, btw :-D

Thanks John and Nick for your comments.

I am definitely interested in taking part in the EDUtalk365 project in 2010 and am confident it will turn out to be a very thought-provoking experience. I think TeachMeet Mobile was a perfect platform for raising awareness about the project too.

It may be an idea in the future to encourage colleagues to include a transcript with embedded links for their phonecasts as the audio quality on occasion can make it difficult to hear exact references.

If the recordings are short this should not take too long to do and makes for a more effective and powerful outcome for the listener I feel.

Joe
