I'm very impressed the way my little tool (I'm the author/developer) can be so useful for learning! This is fantastic and after having stopped this program two years ago I think I'll make a version 2.0 very soon at least to be fully Vista compatible.

If you have any other suggestions (realistic), they're welcome! By the way I recently developped another tool (rather a write/draw "reminder") with colors chalks, sponge and a virtual blackboard with wood border. The link of the simple homepage is just mentionned in the URL section of this message. Thank you and good learning!

Patrick

Thanks for your comment Patrick.

Desktop Messager is a great tool. The only thing I would change is the possibility of creating different coloured backgrounds on which the annotations appear.

Joe, I think it shouldn't be that difficult to add the color background feature. Please allow me several week before going back to you with this new version, as I'm developping those little tools only on some of my free time... Best regards.

Hi Joe, just a few words to inform you that Desktop Messager 1.21 has been released today. Finally it has the ability to memorize the Filled Background Colour in the dtm file format. Remember that the rubber "restores" the normal Windows desktop (you may overpass this by using the brush with the same colour as the background to avoid this effect), but this is also a funny effect! The minimize/restore app also restores the Windows desktop. The Filling tool maybe useful to make a multiple pages "presentation". As there is no "wait" commands in DM, you may re-brush an already brushed zone for example in order to temporize before filling the screen again to start a new page for example, many tricks are possible... The software is available here:

http://www.desktop-messager.pro.tm

manuals are up to date too.

Best wishes,

Patrick

1.22 released today.
Extinguisher event is now memorized in .dtm and I extended max number of events in .dtm (20mn play!). With Fill Painting tool and Extinguisher, you can now make multi-pages presentations as a result... Best wishes, Patrick
