Over Easter, I was interviewed by David Noble a chartered teacher from Hillside School in Fife whose Booruch podcasts are a great insight into the power of Web 2.0 technologies in education. The podcast Education Podcast Reflections #40a was published today and here is a summary of our conversation.

Hi Joe
Daughter woke me at 4.30 this morning so got in some serious podcast listening CPD. I enjoyed this interview. Do I have to pay you for all the plugs you are giving me? It brought up some interesting point about collaboration. I did a presentation at last Friday's inset about everything I've done this year (and recorded it it's on my (reflective) blog). A colleague asked me for permission to download the vocab guides, not realising that once this stuff is out there anyone can access and use it. This is one area of challenge, to get teachers to use/adapt what already exists or simply to talk about what they are doing. For instance it would be nice to know what all departments are doing in the school in order to see if there are any crossover points where cross curricular projects could be developed. Could a blog be used for this purpose...I think so. And when Glow comes on line here I think we will have the perfect vehicle.
Hope you are well? Looking forward to summer break?
Adam
