Thanks to a Wes Fryer post this morning I was listening to How Can I Create a Podcast? Let Me Count the Ways! by Lance Ford recorded yesterday at the ODLA Conference 2007. He makes lots of interesting points about podcasting such as using GCast or GabCast for making audio recordings on the move using a mobile phone and then listening to them through iTunes. Great stuff.
Joe - I like the way you have used a Voki with voice on your blog and I have created one I would like to use on a language forum that I belong to. How can you capture the animation - did you just paste the code onto your typepad account and the Voki appeared as an animation?
Your advice would be appreciated.

Hi Lesley,
I just pasted the code into a Notes TypeList. In Typepad you click on the TypeLists tab. Create a new TypeList. Click on the dropdown menu under List type and select Notes. Type in the title of your Voki. Click Create New List button. Click in the box under Note and hold down Ctrl and V to paste in the html code (You'll need to have adjusted the height and width accordingly - I normally have 170 width for a sidebar and 370 for a blog post). Click Save. Click Publish. Click on the link for your home page e.g. the name of your blog and click Save Changes. Click VIEW SITE to see the changes.
Easy!
