After school today, I attended an RSG meeting on eTwinning given by Pauline Stirling from Forelands Middle School where she explained how easy it is to register for a project and set up links with other schools around Europe. Organised by our AST in MFL, Peter Shreeve from Cowes High School, the session took place at The Education Centre and was the second meeting of its kind this year. The first was held at Swanmore Middle School and delivered by Sharon Balch on Assessment of Learning in MFL who also spoke at The Isle of Wight Conference 2007
While we were there, we also had a look around the library to see the latest resources for languages
and the impressive array of puppets which can be borrowed for a month at a time.
I've volunteered to run the next two sessions at Nodehill in the new year with the aim to show my Island colleagues how easy it is to start blogging and podcasting. Entry will be free and all are welcome.
