In Citizenship today, my form class completed October's task (a little late admittedly) for Sharon Tonner's Voices of the World Project. This month we were required to create an Animoto presentation which included us singing our National Anthem combined with photos of our country. See all the other examples here.
I found the images using FlickrStorm following David Jakes' great tutorials and making the video took a matter of minutes. Hope you like it.
Also worth checking out is the VOTW animation created during Oscar Stringer's session at last weekend's eTwinning UK Professional Development Workshop. Other cool animations made on the day include That's what eTwinning is for and The Flags.
Esther Mercier, author of great MFL website Atantot has also been experimenting with Animoto as a way of creating word puzzles for practising vocabulary. See if you can guess what the following mode of transport is by putting the letters into the correct order. Uplifting stuff.
Sounds great Joe!
I had trouble this month uploading our NZ National Anthem mp3 to animoto but after reading a forum note from Sharon on the ning have solved the problem and all working now.
Will be interesting for my students to listen to all the other videos from the other countries next week.
