Language teacher Michelle Silvestri has come up with the novel idea of creating step by step grammar guides on Podomatic so her pupils from Massaponax High School can revise their French outside of the classroom. The simple, yet effective clips feature traditional chalk and talk explanations of topics such as er verbs and the perfect tense with être or avoir and can be downloaded at home or transferred on to a portable device such as an iPod or mobile phone.
I particularly like the way these personalised vodcasts combine old and new technology seamlessly and offer students distance learning opportunities without requiring too much technical know-how from the teacher to put them together.
