Pupils from Inver National School in Ireland have been using a Wiimote to create an interactive whiteboard for €50. Watch this clip, to find out how they did it.
Doug Belshaw has also been experimenting at home with the potential of the Wiimote. See it in action here.
This has real potential if we can find a reliable supplier of infra-red pens.
It's especially easy to setup if you've got a Mac - and even more accurate now that it support multiple WiiMote! :-)

Works like a dream on the Mac - only a little less so on Windows. My daughter was painting with the wiimote yesterday. You can see the remnants of IR Pen Mk 2 in the background. Pen Mk 1 was created by an electronics student at school and proved the concept, but needed work on the ergonomics (and hiding the wires etc!).
This wiimote stuff is great fun - I had a problem though with a laptop not playing nicely with the BlueSoleil bluetooth software. See the blog at dale.ethink.org.uk for updates soon.
