Annik Rubens creator of the Schlaflos in München podcast mentioned recently by Doris Devilly at The NUI Galway Modern languages Symposium has another podcast Slow German designed to help learners of German with their listening skills and cultural awareness.
According to her comment on the Language Geek blog, the idea of the podcast is to tell 'typical German stories' about such topics as public transport or beergardens.
Have a look at this photo set on Flickr for some background information and check out this screencast too on Schlaflos in München.
Shall I repeat that?
For a slow Spanish podcast, have a listen to Andy Martinez's efforts also from Germany. Mmm.
Is it actually slow?
