The video also features an appearance from pupils from Heathfield Technology College at The Isle of Wight Conference 2008. Great to see how this image has made it into a mashup on the power of podcasting from the other side of the 'pond'. Very cool!
Have a look at this clip too about the benefits of podcasting from McNair Middle School and this one from Longfellow Middle School about the pupils' Coulee Kids podcast.
Hello Mr. Dale,
My name is Kelly Evans and I am currently a student at, The University of South Alabama. I am taking EDM 310 this semester with, Dr. Strange. I enjoyed your video! I am new to pod-casting and I found this to be very informative and easy to follow. I am preparing to do my very first pod-cast on Tuesday, so watching this was a great way to better familiarize myself with the benefits of pod-casting. When I graduate, I will definitely incorporate pod-casting into my classroom.

I am a student at the University of South Alabama in EDM310. Upon watching this video, I have to say that podcasts are very important tools to have in a classroom. They enable students to become more creative with their learning, and they also enable parents to know more about what is going on in their child's classroom.

Mr. Dale,
I really enjoyed your podcast. I am a student in Dr. Strange’s EDM 310 class. I am an education major focusing in secondary science. I have watched many podcasts in my college career, but I have never created one myself. Your video was very informative and interesting. I love the idea of incorporating podcasts into schools. I know I have really benefited from them. They are so nice because you can watch them in your own time, and if you were unable to understand a certain part you can just replay it. I know I will include podcasts into my education system once I become a teacher! Thank you so much for this informative video.

Hi Mr. Dale,
Thank you so much for taking time to make a short, informative video discussing and showcasing the strengths of using podcasts in the classroom. I can see how children would like to have the creative say-so about how and what they would like to study using them. Every aspect of producing/creating/performing in a podcast uses higher thinking skills; that's exactly what effective teachers strive to do! Thanks again!
