Today we got packed and went to the American D-Day cemetery. It was very sad and thought-provoking, but at the same time it was very beautiful because all of the crosses were perfectly aligned and cared for.
After having lunch we went to the 360 degree cinema which was very atmospheric and showed real footage from the D-Day landings.
It made you feel like you were really there.
We boarded the ferry and spent the first hour working in our workbooks.
Overall, I've really enjoyed this trip. Thank you to Mr Dale and Mr Peace for organising this great experience for us.
Have a listen to Felicity talking about our last day in France.
What a wonderful experience for the students. It makes history and geography so real. These are experiences that they will never forget.
