In preparation for a conference workshop on the use of technology to teach world languages, Dianne Krause has created this amusing presentation using the text to movie tool Xtranormal. Check it out now! Bob's your robot!
To change the voice to a different language, click on the 'Change Actor' icon
Click on the drop down menu next to 'Give your actor a VOICE'
Woo I made that movie! Thanks for posting about it. Btw, the workshop was a success and when I gave them "play time" a lot of them were making Xtranormals to intro their class or whatnot. Very cool use of Xtranormal!

Hi Dianne,
Thanks for sharing your French Xtranormal example. Judging by the ReTweets on Twitter it has proved very popular. Thanks too for the link on your wikispaces. Some great resources there: http://diannekrause.wikispaces.com/WLWOW

Hi Catherine,
You click on 'Change actor' in the 'Design a scene' section at the bottom of the 'Make a Movie' interface and click on the drop down menu next to 'Give your actor a VOICE'

To get the choice to change the speaker's language, click the "character" icon on the bottom left. Then, you can change the character, but also it's voice.. many different languages to choose from!
